The tool was created to speed up the process of placing objects on the terrain while creating scenery. Obviously, It can also be used for various other 3d designing tasks.
The idea is to easily and rapidly replace plain-dummy objects with the final detailed objects from a self-created source collection or a single selected active object.
By altering different parameters, replacing those dummy objects can easily be adjusted and you can instantly control the variation and mix of your set.
There are a variety of options to choose from.
Create instances or not, keep the scale of targets, the scale of collection objects, or randomly apply different scales from a given range. The same applies to the object’s rotation and the name attributes.
Option to set the selected ones as target objects, or all objects in a target collection.
Option to move the final objects to a new or existing collection.
Finally, fine-tuning can be performed, concerning the randomization of placed objects.
