  It is a great thought. If you can explain how to make material for the feather, it would be grat help. I found 5 material shaders. I like to see shaders more. If you can add peacock feathers, it would be fantastic.

  This is great! I think the 1 star review because it's not an add-on is extremely unfair. It didn't claim to be an add-on, it's in the modifier setups category. Also, I prefer that it's not an add-on honestly.
  It's a well thought out workflow for grooming procedurally generated feathers. It's lightweight because it's based on curves and instancing, and is fairly straightforward to use. The price is more than reasonable as well. It does exactly what it says it can do. Well done! I'm looking forward to the ability to use with a mesh texture map. I'm sure there are other things I will want once I dig in but 10/10 on the v1.0
