Will nSolve replace Hard Ops and BoxCutter?
No.
Hardops will remain an experimental toolkit used to originate and expand on concepts pertaining to workflow. It is intended to still grow and be maintained despite it being born in 2015.
Boxcutter remains focused on being a boolean cut toolkit. nSolve might have individual tools that may use booleans, however these are unable to be shifted to live or fit inside of boxcutter due to architectural differences. Line cut may come to boxcutter, but it will require extensive planning to make it fit in the boxcutter mold. As a result, the chances of it coming to boxcutter are limited.
nSolve aims to focus exclusively on endurance, topological and mesh problem solving in a way that the previous tools architecturally could not. Over time the chasms between them will grow as nSolve becomes more solution oriented and customizable out the gate. nSolve endeavors to offer more flexibility with configuration compared to the previous two tools.
