How it works ?
Select Mesh Designer primitive :
Grid - Cube - Circle - ICO or UV sphere - Cylinder - Cone - Torus - Gear
or Folder (for object or collection)For each primitive, every parameter can be change including size, vertex count, radius, height, hole size, axis…
All primitive can be replaced by another one, duplicated during your work.
What's included ?
Lite version (for personnal usage) includes all Mesh Designer Primitives with construction history (like in Maya), material, and the ability to apply objects (transform them into standard geometry modifiable in edit mode).
Studio version add Mesh Design include the ability to import external objects or collection + preparametered deformers offering thousands of possibilities :
Extrude - Inset - Bevel Taper - Stretch - Bend - Vanish - Noise - Poke - Dual - Crease - Smooth - pre and post Transformations.
Use with Objects and Collections
In the Studio version, you can use objects or collections (including other modifiable MD objects) to apply studio variations. You can use an new material or use original ones.
Material
For both Studio version and Lite version a simple material is automaticaly added on each Mesh Designer object. You can create new material, change the color and the roughness
Who can use it ?
This add-on is ideal for modeling characters, architecture, motion design, experimental designs, flat or organics,… All parameters can be animated, providing great options for ground transformation and adding noise. Even a child can learn Blender with Mesh Designer.
The Studio and Lite versions both have the ability to create and change the design during the modeling process . This is impossible with Blender's classic tools, and it's always a problem. When I teach Blender (I'm a Blender teacher in Paris), every student tells me that it's illogical to not be able to change the design after creating it. Well now they is a solution.
The Studio version integrates the most popular deformers. However, you can add more (like Cloth) or include them manually yourself in the Personal version too!
This plugin is designed to be a real time saver and let you focus solely on creativity. You can combine complex shapes to make almost anything. With this one plugin, you can do everything, even adding other deformers like cloth.
Modeling is so simple with Mesh Designer that you'll never use the classic tools again to shape your model.
What are the limits ?
There is no limit However, note that you can't edit objects in edit mode during the creation process. Once you apply the modifiers (using the Apply button), you won't be able to change the shape. Due to new features, it works on Blender 4+. Try it.

- New Crease module (work well with Post subdivide smooth)
- Smooth Shade module with edge angle
- The ability to apply the modifiers in the orders you choose (if you make changes in the modifier panel).
- A Proxy module for complex models.
