Medieval Prop Collection
Basic information
This asset library was made mainly for game engines but ultimately it was made in Blender, therefore, it can be used in Blender by default. All models are immediately ready for use after importing into your projects.
General use
To use models from this pack, it is advised to append them, not link, into your projects. After appending, models are ready for use. You can use incremental snapping to quickly assemble your scene, as every model has its origin point set to accommodate this workflow.
Adding subdivision modifiers is NOT recommended as models are mostly low poly, without supporting edge loops and would have to be added manually. If you do need to increase topology, maybe it's best to do it manually with bevels.
Materials
Materials are using basic PBR texture setup and are generally assigned one material per item. However, some smaller props may share a texture set, for better optimization. Depending on your lighting setup, height map can sometimes be too strong. To fix this, just adjust its strength in the material setup.
