  Can't wait to see the improvement of this add-on in the future. Very helpful tool. So, if you make the mesh too complex/detail, Could I suggest adding "bake to texture map" feature on the add-on ui. Then we can easy to get baked texture and optimize the scene by displacement texture that we baked. I know we can make this by hand but if we could make this more easier by just one click to get texture map, that would be awesome!

  Your suggestion makes a lot of sense. However, I wanted to keep a workflow as simple as possible with a single (geometry generation) step. That's why I did not add other steps like baking.

  This addon is a real timesaver for adding detail to all sorts of models. The high frequency details along with the generated UV's in particular are great for creating areas of interest. The dev is also more than happy to provide support.

  Worked great in 2.8. I recently updated to 2.92 and it crashes Blender on me. I reinstalled 2.91.0. Throw a cube down, subdivide, enter edit mode, select OK from the Detailer pane, and error messages start coming up. This does not work for me in 2.91.0. Forced to reinstall.

  Hi Alan,
  As stated on the product page: version 2.92 is not supported yet.
  Regarding version 2.91.0, it looks like you forgot to assign a material before executing the Detailer. I can help you with that should you encounter any hurdle.
  Please contact me next time you are experiencing an issue. I would also invite you to read the documentation, in which most common issues like these are covered!
  I am developing this add-on on my free time and the reviews are really important to me. It is a bit discouraging to receive a bad one before being asked for support and especially when the problems are anticipated in the documentation.

  I just got this add-on... unfortunately, it doesn't seem to work with Blender 2.91. I tested it with an older version and it works. Any plans to update it???

  As the description of the add-on states: the supported versions are 2.83 and 2.9. Version 2.91 will be supported in the next update as it was released after the add-on. The next update should happen sometime next week.
