Ford Bronco

by Lazercar in Models

This model was created using a hybrid method between shrinkwrap and traditional highpoly vehicle modeling. What does this mean? Well essentially, I have been able to achieve shrinkwrap level reflections without having to use shrinkwrap on the final product. By removing the shrinkwrap modifier on the final product, the customer is able to easily move the model around without having to deal with a base mesh or needing to apply any modifiers.

This model also features subdivision surface modifiers on all the body panels; however, these modifiers are non-essential, and you are able to adjust the amount of subdivision surface you want on the vehicle to cater towards your hardware or use cases.

The Fbx and collada file formats feature a high and low poly version. What this means is that the lowpoly version does not have subdivision surface applied while the highpoly version has subdiv applied. The lowpoly version can be helpful if you want to make modifications to the model in another software for example 3ds max or maya, while the highpoly version is helpful if you just want the finished polished product for renders in an external software for example unreal engine or unity.

This model was created in blender 3.5 and if you open it up in older versions, you may encounter problems with materials or other items with the model.

As always, if you have further questions, feel free to contact me.
