  When it works its great but that's if you're lucky, overall its very finicky and awkward to use. Currently cannot render more than 30 frames without it crashing. Once it's all polished out it will be a great addon but for now its not worth purchasing IMO.

  Thought this was a realtime addon. You can't see the result until you render. Not practical for actual use.

  Very cool tool! Makes flares much easier to create, however, it's not quite production ready for my team's pipeline. Main thing is you can't separate out each flare into a different pass, making it impossible to composite, since it also doesn't automatically occlude lights/objects as they get covered up. If I have more than one flare in a scene, and one of the objects is occluded, and another is not, there's no ability currently to split up the flares into different passes and turn one off/on. If we can get that feature added, I'll happily change my review to a five star, because otherwise it's a very cool tool. Would love to also be able to modify the flares a bit more specifically, but the presets are very good.

  Love this add-on and the guys have a great support. This should not be missed in any Blender tools collection. The effects are great and add a lot of realism to lights whenever needed. Great work, keep on with this!

  Works incredibly well and looks amazing!
  I should mention there is an issue with the GPU compositor where the flare will seem to not update upon re-rendering it, but it's not the fault of the addon itself and merely a bug within blender. Aside from that small issue at the time of writing the addon works flawlessly.
