What is this add-on about?

This is an add-on for quickly setup a fire into your scene. Best works with Eevee render engine. Takes longer time to render in cycles. 

How to install it?

Like any other add-ons, download the add-on as a zip file, in the Blender Edit > Preferences > Add-ons > Install...  

How to use it?

This add-on sets up a tab in the n-panel (press n key in 3D View). Open by clicking Fire Box tab in the n-panel. Change the view mode to 'Shading or Render' to see the fire. The panel initially shows up with a button called Create Fire Box. Pressing this button adds a Fire Box into your scene and also the panel expands to show few more properties to adjust the fire.  

1. Scale:

Adjust the size of the fire in x, y, z direction. (While a fire box is actively selected)

2. Flame Color:

Set the color of the flame using this color picker. (While a fire box is actively selected)

3. Reuse Fire:

This is a checkbox, by selecting this check box newly created Fire Boxes will use the same fire as the actively selected one. By this way adjusting the flame color of one instance will affect all other instances sharing the same fire. If you want each instances to have different flame color, uncheck this before pressing Create Fire Box button.

4. Create Fire Box:

Use this button to create instances of Fire Box.

5. Reset to default:

Active Fire Box will be reset to default size and color.
