    it's nice but it produces the same exact result as setting the Black & White point values in EXtractor in Ae to -100/100 for example. And RSMB still behaves pretty bad overall, bluring only in forward direction on big motions, not repeating edge pixels ect...

      RSMB is only a 2D effect despite taking motion vectors as an input source. It can never compare directly to 3D motion blur, but that is the trade-off you make for faster rendering speeds. You can use the alpha input on the plugin's node to separate your elements and apply motion blur to objects individually if you choose. Thereby negating the repeating edge pixels you mention, which are result of RSMB's algorithm by the way, not this add-on. I'm not 100% sure about the pixel math the extractor plugin employs but I'm not sure you're correct there. I hope you find the add-on useful in your work either way.

    Fast and easy! Don't forget to turn the "Range" value to 20 to ensure best results.
