A high detailed model of the famous Elks building in Rapid City South Dakota. Originally built in 1912, even in it's modern incarnation, it still has late Edwardian era characteristics. This model is built to be rendered from any angle, offering interesting details even when the camera is quite close up. On the movie theater side, the neon sign and the markee can be lit up using emitter shaders. There are simple box interiors that also have light emitting objects for that extra bit of realism looking through the windows and for night scenes. This is building #1 of the Rapid City series of 3d models. I do have planned updates for this building but because of the vagaries of life, I can not make any guarantees.
