  This product does exactly as described. I found it easier to open the example objects the creator provides and then create my object along side for instant results. It won't create edge wear on heavy bevels however, but that's not a problem for me. Happy with what I got and for a fair price. Saved me a ton of work and I was looking for hours on Youtube and could not find anything as easy and comparable as this.

  Thanks. My main goal here was to make it low-poly friendly. I searched and searched but could find no such material, so I dug in and made it happen. There are vastly more complex setups for wear, but they require high poly models or baking. As far as heavy bevels go, I used the AO node and reversed it for edge wear, so it's looking for sharpness. It makes sense in the real world, I suppose. Softer edges get softer wear, usually. I do wish I could force it to do a few things it won't. Enjoy.

  This is a SUPER simple material (I had already setup a material just like it, more complicated in fact, and did not realize until after purchase). There are tons of free tutorials on youtube. This worth maybe $1-$2 to save you the time of setting up yourself or finding a 10min tutorial on how to do it. I would suggest making this a little more complicated to allow greater control of edge gradation.

  I wish you hadn't given me a 3 star rating for a product that performs well and precisely as described. I haven't tried to hide anything. Sigh. Can't please everyone even by giving it away (I show the precise node setup in the video).
