  Decal machine is among the the top of any serious Blenderers toolbox. if you see an addon from machine, you buy it instantly. no if ands or buts.

  Very happy with this product. Had some uncommon installation problems but the customer service was very patient with me and helpful, despite the fact that I have hardly used a computer in the last 15 years, since quitting working in the visual effects industry, so I am not familiar with modern windows etc, also I only had internet connection on fleeting occasions, which made things even more of a challenge. Would definately reccomend all the addons sold by this developer if you are serious about saving time making hard surface models, or trying to keep your polygon count down. The other addons provide you with a fantastic range of other tools also, which can certainly help to improve the quality of your work. Only ptoblem I have with them is that they make me feel like a kid in a candy shop, want to learn how to use everything all at once.

  Is $50 a lot of money for an add-on? Well, if you only have $0.30, then yes. But, if you can afford it, then no. Why is that? For starters, the most prevalent reason is that the amount of eye-candy that can be created and used is staggering. Also, checking out the included example files shows how incredibly detailed you can make your meshes with just decals. You would be floored to find out that what looks to be detailed topology is only a basic cube with several decals applied. This add-on makes generating those results a piece of cake. Using it alongside MESHmachine has made my workflow not only more streamlined but also more fun. It has opened up a whole new world of creativity for me, and that is a plus.

  So, is $50 a lot to ask for this add-on? Well, consider how much time you'll lose if you don't get it. The amount of work and time that went into creating this tool to do all this, I think, justifies that cost. You're not getting "just an add-on", you're getting a new experience. A better one. That includes some outstanding service and support if you have any questions or run into a snag that doesn't seem to have an answer in the documentation.
