  Absolutely gorgeous models with a ton of customization options, well documented and a very reasonable price. The crystals are both realistic and great to look at even up close, making them perfect as the centerpieces of a scene. They are extremely resource-intensive though, which means that in some ways they are confined to being centerpieces - even with a great GPU I find it hard to justify using them as side decoration due to their effect on render time. Creating an alternate 'lightweight shader' version of the crystals might help to make them viable for this purpose. 9/10

  Beautiful kit honestly, you can't really go wrong with that price. The creator is super nice and responsive which is always a good sign in my book. Be aware that these are quite resource-intensive so it might not be for everyone. Other than that the quality is absolutely worth the money.

  use on a huge asteroid makes it lag. It is impossible to apply vertex groups. difficult to configure in complex scenes. in the shader the geom node is a mess... suitable only for rendering the crystals themselves.

  Loads of good looking crystals which is easy to use. Only the cracked crystals look a bit unnatural/unrealistic to me.

  The crystal kit works like a charm. It's easy to use and I could produce some stunning results.
  I constantly play around with all the options – to see how they affect the look and spread of the crystals, and it’s really hard to stop.

  This is another great product from Asset kit. It does exactly what it says, creating the most beautiful crystal structures. It's got loads of control over size, shape and colour, and is pretty easy to set up. The only downside is the realism of the crystals means that render times can be quite high. I do think it should come with an alternate material system (simple coloured glass basically) for quicker, less realistic renders, which would also be better for animations – and maybe a pack of GeoScatter biomes? However the results are gorgeous and well worth waiting for. If I could have given it 4.5 stars I would!
