Ever since we released Blender Basics 4.0 with the beautiful work showcasing Blender Built in Blender by Omar Domenech we have been getting massive, excited response from the community asking:

How was that made?

Where can I get this 3D Blender UI?!

We hear you!  This is such an amazing model it was even featured as the opening of BCON LA!

We spoke with Omar and agreed to make this available to the community to see how it was made and to use it in your own creative Blender work...or just poke around inside a 3D Blender UI for fun.

What you get

Three .blend files:

1. Main model of the Blender UI built in Blender
2. An animation using the Blender UI as seen on YouTube
3. An exploded version of the Blender UI with each Blender Menu

Main Model

First the main model with the whole UI put together ala real Blender.

Animation

The second file is the animation of the Blender UI, the exact file where you hit render and out comes the video you see on YouTube.

Every Blender Menu

The third file is an exploded form of the model where you have all the menu models so you can pick and chose any that you would like to use in your own model, motion graphic or Blender UI animation.
