I've been looking for this exact thing so I don't have to keep importing my image sequences into After Effects just to turn them into a video. It works!

I do have some small notes:
I clicked the Install Dependencies button but there was no indication that it was successfully installed/failed/whatever. I clicked it a couple more times before I tried restarting Blender which did the trick. I wish there was a message after the dependencies installed that I need to reboot Blender.

Secondly, relative file paths don't currently work. They return a couple traceback errors so you have to turn off relative paths in the folder selection window.

Other than those things, I'm glad I have this add-on in my workflow now!

Thank you for your kind words and really useful points, we are working on making the instillation of the dependencies more intuative in the comings updates.

I will investigate the relative paths not working and be sure to update you when we have pushed an update that fixes this issue.

Thank you again for using our addon, I am committed to providing consistent updates so please do feel free to reach out if you bump into any other bugs or think of any sort of improvements you would like to see.

      All the best,
      Nathan

I've been waiting for someone to create a digital film strip creator for Blender for years. The one in Blender is junk imo lol. I've only given four stars, because I've only just installed the add-on and haven't used yet. So I'm giving the add-on 4 stars on the basis of potential. I would have given 5, but there's no indication of colour bit-depth on the outputted file. Either the Mov format or AVI have to be 10 bit colour depth to make this add-on useful for me. At the moment Blender's internal film renderer can't output 10 bit. I used to be able to import Open EXR files into Vegas Pro, but Blender 2.8 broke this. I have a workaround but being able to create the film strip in Blender will allow me to get rid of one step, and better allow for a better archival system.

      Thank you for this review!

Brilliant suggestions for future features, I will definately look into intergrating these changes for the next update, I would love to have a chat on what else you would like to see added or improved! This is exactly the kind of feedback we really enjoy and look forward to updating it to better suite your needs.

Looking forward to hearing from you,

      Nathan

Cool addon! More output formats are always a good thing--I especially like being able to output to gif right away :)
