Auto Car Driver

Blender Easy in Modifier Setups

How can I simulate steering and drifting?
To simulate steering, simply increase the Steering value to make the tires turn while the car follows the curve. For drifting, adjust the Drift slider to introduce a realistic sliding effect, allowing the car to drift smoothly around corners.
Is the Car Rig Pro compatible with my custom car models?
Yes, Car Rig Pro is fully compatible with custom car models. Simply load the car parts into the relevant collections (car body, tires, brake, etc.), and adjust the tire placement and number of tires to fit your model. It works with a wide variety of vehicle types!
How do I create and adjust the car's path?
You can create a custom path for your car by drawing a curve on the terrain. Once the path is drawn, load the curve into the Auto Car Driver, and the car will follow the curve smoothly, adjusting its motion accordingly.
Can I flip the car or the tires if they are not aligned correctly?
Yes! You can easily flip both the car body and tires by using the Flip Car and Flip Tires checkboxes within the tool. This will ensure everything is correctly oriented.
How do I adjust the number of tires or the size of the traction wheels?
Once you've added the Auto Car Driver to your scene and loaded the necessary collections, you can adjust the number of tires and their size: Use the Number of Tires option to set how many tires the car has. To adjust the size of the traction wheels, simply increase their scale as needed for different vehicle types.
How do I install the Auto Car Driver system?
Simply place the AutoCarDriver.blend file into your Assets Library folder. Then, open Blender and navigate to the Asset Browser, where you'll find Auto Car Driver ready to use.
