Hi Nico,
I am sorry that you faced this problem.
Most of my models are material based PBR for usage in Blender, so I put all the physical properties of each part for it to interact with light accurately.
I UV unwarp part that needs textures like flashes and screens, otherwise if not texture is used, I use physical properties as setup, which have worked great for tech products like iPhones and iPads.
