by Daniel De Klawn in Materials, Shaders, Textures

Fully procedural patterns materials.

Looks and smells like real patterns.
Based on UV. You can use other coordinates also but end result might be not as good as with UV coordinates.

There is a special YT video for this material - https://youtu.be/kAyxLpHkgsg

File includes 32 ready to use procedural patterns materials based on 29 unique node groups:

- N-gon

So you can append it into your project and use any of these patterns

Why procedural shader textures instead of regular PBR maps?

  • Infinite resolution. Textures that you normally use are always limited by their resolution and in close they are just mess of pixels.
  • Endless possibilities for customization! Change any settings, apply to any vector coordinates and even mix with other shaders using mask outputs.
  • And if you worry about render time then remember that you always can bake your customized texture.
