No. Blender is all that you need.

What are the licenses of the files in the course?
  • The Blend file, Particle animation, Poster, trailer, samples, Video and PDF Training tutorial are Standard Royalty Free license. More info here: https://support.blendermarket.com/legal/product-licenses/standard-royalty-free-license

  • The background image, music and sound effects are licensed CC0. This means they are in public domain. Do whatever you want with these.

  • The Clear Sans and Open Sans fonts are licensed Apache. Oswald and Raleway are licensed SIL Openfont license. You can use them to create commercial stuff. Read their respective license in their folder for the complete information on distribution.

What skill level does one require to use this product?

What version of blender does this require?

I recommend Blender 2.79. Although, this was tested and worked on Blender 2.70. It was made on Blender 2.79.

How to buy the product?

Yes. This product works on every platform that blender supports. Windows, Mac OS and Linux. In fact this product itself was made in Ubuntu.

Can I use a Nvidia GPU to render it?

Yes. I have given an explanation in the training tutorial on how to achieve it. 

What are the system requirements for this product?

Very basic. It hardly uses 160 MB of ram while rendering a frame. I'll use the same requirements as basic blender has.

  • 32-bit dual core 2Ghz CPU with SSE2 support.

  • 2 GB RAM

  • 24 bits 1280×768 display

  • Mouse or trackpad

  • OpenGL 2.1 compatible graphics with 512 MB RAM
