This is procedurally generated landscape in the node editor using procedural textures for micropolygon displacement.


Note: for the Blender 2.78 and higher.

Create terrain quickly and easily. Adjust the parameters of the modules, combine and mix them, use procedural textures for the terrain coverage (rock, grass), bake or render output texture, such as a height map, splatmap etc.

What this includes?

5 custom terrain generator modules:

  • input heighmap texture module (+2 erosion mountains heightmap textures);
  • procedurally generated terrain module;
  • musgrave terrain module;
  • noise tarrain module;
  • voronoi terrain module.
  • also includes a terrace and constant modules.

Custom rock and grass procedural textures.

Custom color module:

  • coverage settings: snow, rock, grass and sand;

Map outputs:

  • simple colors;
  • texture colors;
  • grayscale;
  • splatmap;
  • colormap;
  • snow mask;
  • rock mask;
  • grass mask;
  • sand mask.


  • Open Blender
  • Go to Files>Append>search .blend file>material>click Terrain Generator Shader PRO.

blend. file is configured and ready to use, but if you create a new mesh or attached to the project (described above), check the settings for micropolygons displacement.
Note: only works Blender 2.78 and higher.

  • render settings>feature set-Experimental;

  • material settings>settings>displacement-Both;

  • modifiers settings>add modifier>Subdivision Surface>checkbox-Adaptive.
