Outlandish Trees - Highly detailed handcrafted Fantasy & Alien Trees + Models optimized for Curves

Outlandish Trees is a 3D Model Asset pack focused on unique fantasy and alien trees. It also includes flora like roots, mushrooms, lianas and tendrils. Most models feature 4k Textures to deliver a high level of detail even for close up shots. For more customizability 3D models specifically for use with curves were added. Thanks to Asset Browser support models can be placed per drag and drop in seconds.

All models are high poly so that artist can enhance their environments easily.

Is it for you?

I created this pack for one simple reason, I could not find anything like it on the open market. I love to create crazy environments in my artwork, and because of that I am constantly searching for new 3D models to create such scenes. But I was never able to find really good looking high quality fantasy or alien trees that you see in movies or video games, what actually surprised me a lot. There are many tree generators that can do incredible things but none of them really gave me what I was looking for. So I was pretty much left with only one option, I had to do it myself.  That is why I can now present to you Mushroom Trees, Balloon Trees and yeah a lot of crazy looking plants.

To summarize it, if you are a 3D artist, concept artist or any artist that can make use of 3D models and you like to create a bit more outlandish (:p) art this might be something for you.

Assets for Curves?

You can use Curves in Blender for all kinds of cool stuff, like scattering or deforming objects along them. With that in mind, I created 3D models for exactly that purpose. To be used with a curve modifier and if needed array modifier so that you can wrap those models around whatever you want or build bridges or just let them fly through the air.

Drag & Drop

The Asset Browser support allows you to drag and drop models into your Blender scene in seconds and provides an overview over all available assets sorted in categories and with preview images. Or to make it simple no more folder searching and testing which model is the one you are looking for.

Unique and Handcrafted

All assets in this pack were modeled, sculpted and textured by hand. Why should you care? Because this means that they look vastly different from anything that you could create with a tree generator. To create outstanding environments you need outstanding models in my opinion.
