Harness the power of blender's geometry nodes to make epic large-scale environments!
Begin by defining your mountain range, valley, or plateau. The asset has a material already mapped to it that procedurally reacts to the placement of the water, and the height of the mountain range. This gives you a slight water line on the grass, and turns the mountain tops into a rocky surface.
Next adjust your river or lake and start growing trees! While you can of course use your own trees, the asset comes with two groups of lo-poly trees ready to go! Oak and Pine. You can scatter a mixture of both, or select just one. You also have the option to view just a tree proxy to make your workflow quicker. The trees automatically avoid the water and you can chose how high up the mountain they should grow.
Tweak the placement of everything, add some noise, adjust the mountain look and crank up subdivision for higher detail! Endless environment creation possibilities right at your finger tips!
