30 Curve Effects

by Knight 3D in Modifier Setups

With this node-based modifier you can turn any curve to one of these effects.

To be able to use it in any blender file you have to add it to the asset browser, from (Edit) go to (Preferences), choose (File Paths), press on the plus button (+) in the (Asset Libraries) section, locate where the 30 Curve Effect folder is and then press on (Add Asset Library).

Select any curve and add the modifier on it.

Here are the options that you will find in that node tree.

Resample Curve and Resample Profile are for setting up the resolution.

Flow Speed is for the speed of the animated selected material.

With the help of the asset browser, you can drag and drop the selected material on the Set Material section.

By default, the line curve is profile for the selected curve when the Custom Profile section is empty unless you choose a one.

If you want to change the radius from the Edit Mode, you just uncheck the Control Radius option.

Changing the normal direction of the curve is an option only available in Blender 4.1, so make sure to update blender.

Noise Displacement is for adding more depth for the mesh, so it won't seem flat.

Lastly, you can change the color of the material from its node group, also of course you can play with the different parameters inside the node group, and so you can create your new effect.
