  Now THIS is what I've been looking for. I find the UI very intuitive and the included materials and assets are great. If I can figure out how to EASILY import other assets into this, e.g. Alpha Trees, Bagapie assets, Scatter assets, Botaniq.... this thing will be a juggernaut. Please keep developing this, and thank you!

  A few hiccups at first that probably were small mistakes on my end. You have to anticipate a few things, and yes, Blender will struggle if you have a procedural material blending 4 types of 4K textures on a 2 millions terrain, but damn, once everything is set up, it is smooth as hell, and the performance is actually better once you are in render mode, and with true sky it's almost realtime in cycles. Baking works perfectly, and it allows me to do what I've wanted to do for years : hand craft terrains and assets to the highest quality, and then bake them if I need better performance or export to another software. A life saver and a joy to work with.

  The amount of work that went into this is beyond my comprehension, as are some of the tools themselves but that's why we like blender, to learn and grow as an artist and if you're looking for an addon that will help you do that while simultaneously producing photorealistic landscapes and scenery look no further.
  Everything is very intuitive, and for experienced Blender users many of the concepts and applications will be pretty straightforward. I learned as I went and didn't understand why some things reacted in certain ways but through a combination of trail and error, and many tutorials on their youtube even a shmuck like myself picked up and now frequently use a tool with unimaginable power.
  Most importantly to many of us though this product is tried and tested, being on its fourth iteration many issues are smoothed out, optimization is high, and the feature set works exactly as intended. In short, this product isn't going anywhere and will most likely continue to be ahead of it's rivals for quite some time giving it far more value than the humble list prices. Definitely recommend.

  OMG....If you haven't bought this tool yet you are an absolute amateur. I own Scatter and Botanique and Alpha Trees. I bought all of them last year with a bunch of ocean water shaders and while they are great at doing what they do best they always lacked everything else that would help. I had to buy a water shader, then a scatter shader, then a texture addon then then then..... I bought this hesitating after reading some of the negative reviews.....and MAN....I am so glad I did buy it.

  The way I would describe this tool is that it is essentially a WORLD-building tool. While the other addons on the market feel like addons that cover one aspect of landscape creation who do one thing particularly well this tool does it all. Just to mention that I bought it with the Sky add-on they made also and yeah amazing every looks so real.

  I needed a scene complete with ocean and sky and vegetation. The whole process took me 15 minutes.....yes you read that correctly 15 MINUTES WTH!!!! It took 10 more to make the render, but I am fine with that...normally to get anything descent before it would take me half a day LOL.

  I am astounded that this tool exists, it feels more like a collection of tools rolled into one. Honestly, I don't think it's fair to even call this an addon, it literally feels like it is its own program. Terrain creating, texture ready, water ready, sky ready, snow-ready.....it's worth easily 3 times more.

  I have been making scenes now with it galore, it uses Cycles which is a bit heavier in terms of load, but honestly some of the stuff you just can't make it in EEEVEE, I tried the light baking is punishing, I get why others have complained in their reviews but if you want this level of realism and quality you gotta go Cycles anyways. The Devs were super responsive and answered all my questions, their discord is super helpful and friendly.

  Am I going to drop the other addons I own? No! But what is gonna happen, is that a lot more of my general world-building and nature design will be funnelled through True Terrain.....you have to see the snow they made and honestly by far the best-looking water shader I have seen on all the market, and I bought many :(....it looks absolutely realistic....great Job, can't recommend enough. Customer for life...

  Honestly, this is the best environment tool that I have found. It's not the simplest but things that are worth it never are. Customer support and community support on the Discord Channel are amazing - a very friendly bunch. If environments are your thing and you want a great community of like-minded people then I would highly recommend

  This add-on is great!
  I manage to work with a gtx 1070.
  For biome shaders it is possible to set 1k for the viewport and 2k or 4k for rendering.
  I coupled this add-on with the Nisarga ultimate add-on which provides a very complete and good quality asset collection.
  With a few hours of learning you can very easily have very good results!

  Great addon, works smoothly with your own textures too .. I´m creating real life terrains with contour lines and sculpting and then using this addon for making it look realistic. It´s amazing, it surprises me in a good way on every step. It is simple to use, yet you have control over so many attributes and I never encountered a single crash. It helps you to create your art work xx-times faster. Thank you for creating such excellent addon.

  Love this so far but I am having an issue when placing trees. It seems when I delete the trees in the scene section of blender and then respawn them, True terrain wont respawn them. Am I doing something wrong here? I am using Cycles.
