WHAT'S IN THE BOX?

This is the Smooth Mesh Fill or Smooth Hole Repair addon for Blender 3.0 and further releases. It patches simple mesh defects with a triangular mesh. The only prerequisite is that the defect has no undercuts (see product images).

WHY DO I NEED THIS?

Mesh defects are a common problem in 3D objects. In Blender, these holes can be patched with a triangular mesh, but this method does not take the surrounding geometry into account. With this addon, it is possible to repair defects by interpolating the surrounding geometry. This results in a smooth patch that blends perfectly with the existing geometry.
