Features

The main feature of Simply Cloth is the simplification of numerous parameters into a few essential controls. From these parameters, you can achieve exactly the desired effects.

Bake to Keyframe:

• Bake the cloth simulation to keyframes to convert the animation into keyframe animation.

Pin Layer System:

• Create pin layers and control them in real time. Add multiple Pin Layers and adjust them individually with sliders.

Draw Cloth Sets | Extract Face Sets:

• Draw directly on your character, extract the drawing as a cloth object, and adjust it with Cloth Enhancement.

Attach to Cloth:

• Select another object (like a pocket) to attach to the cloth object.

Skin Tight | Skin Tight from Selection:

• Assign a selection in Edit Mode as a tight-fitting object. Perfect for creating tight clothing like swimsuits. You can also use this from the Cloth Sets function by drawing the desired area on the character and getting a garment directly without modeling.

Optim Cloth:

• Create a high-resolution duplicate attached to the simulation object to receive simulation data without affecting performance. This allows you to add many details while maintaining the performance of the base resolution object.

Cloth Enhancements (Geometry Nodes):

• Add extra details to the garment or cloth object during or after the simulation without editing the mesh. Easily toggle these adjustments on or off.

Sculpt Brush Presets:

• Access a curated selection of cloth sculpt brushes in Blender.

Bend Selection:

• Bend specific parts of your cloth object in Edit Mode, giving you better control for belts, arms, or other areas that need to be bent around the character.

Triangulate Selection | Rotate Face:

• Add more details through triangulated topology on selected parts or the entire object in Edit Mode.

Selection to Cloth:

• Select faces in Edit Mode and instantly create a cloth object with pressure applied, all with one click.

Sewing:

• Sewing Help: Count how many selections are needed for clean sewing.
• Auto Sewing (WIP): Automatically close sewings on simple objects with one click.
• Cut and Sew Edges (WIP): Edge selection in Edit Mode will cut and sew with one click.

Fast Edit:

• Rotate Faces, Select Mesh Bounds, Select Sewings.

Wind FX:

• Add a fast wind effect to the cloth.
