Procedural Rain Shader For Eevee And Cycles

Add beautiful rainy effect on your scenes instantly with this UV based animated normal map generator. This shader creates a normal output with drops that land every time on a different stop (no repetition) that you can use on any shader to create the illusion of rain. Works in EEVEE and Cycles

v1.1 Update:

-Drops never land on the same spot
-Optinoal water movement/noise
-Drops Density control
-Independent bump control for drops and "waves"
-wave texture scale control

There are some settings to play with:

-Scale: The size of the texture
-Intensity: The intensity of the rain (there are 2 options, 0 and 1)
-Speed: Speed of the rain animation
-Bump Multiplier: You can increase the bump height with this setting
-Seed:  A random seed that  will change the position of the drops.
