Studio Lighting in Blender

HDRI Lighting Studio & Editor is a Blender add-on that helps you light your scenes by offering you procedural and image based lighting tools with plenty of settings located in convenient panels for quick access and flexibility.

As lighting artists ourselves, we created this add-on to help us with our studio work. As a result our lighting workflow improved substantially by allowing us to experiment more, create more precise results and cut our work time more than half.

With HDRI Lighting Studio PRO, you’ll experiment with new lighting setups, and create your professional render right away.

"This is an excellent lighting tool and one that any product designer or illustrator will benefit greatly from. It brings Keyshot style lighting design to Blender, and I couldn't be more pleased." - Steve Warner

How do I undo while using the plugin?

You need to click finish to commit your changes to the HDRI, after that the undo function will be restored.

Don't worry, as long as you click edit and you are using the same HDRI file, your previous changes won't be lost, the lights are still fully editable.

The plugin doesn't display any menus or they can't be clicked. What's going on?

Please disable Transparent Region from Blender Preferences.

I can't seem to get the plugin recognized. What's going on?

Please name the plugin folder in the blender addon folder without any commas or dots, otherwise you won’t be able to install the plugin!!!

Great product, seriously overlooked. Brings the simplicty of Keyshot lighting to Blender!

This is an excellent lighting tool and one that any product designer or illustrator will benefit greatly from. It brings Keyshot style lighting design to Blender, and I couldn't be more pleased. I've played with many rendering engines and Keyshot has consistently impressed with its ease of use. Blender/Cycles/LuxCoreRender have the same rendering capabilities, but Keyshot made designing your lighting so easy. Now, with this addon, I can skip Keyshot altogether. The tool is easy to use, provides a wealth of options, and can create HDR and EXR files that can be used in other programs. If you're serious about lighting, this is a tool you don't want to be without.

I've really enjoyed using this addon and hope the developer continues developing it. Things I would like to see added. Interactive selections of the lights, So you don't need to select the light from the list before moving the light would be nice. Clean up the make new and load workflow. Not really reliable, addon often needs a restart to use. Again I love this addon and hope it has a long life.

Once you get past a couple setup issues which are very minor, this plugin does exactly what it promises. The only thing that could make this better is if we were able to select locations on objects in the viewport and link it directly to the HDRI itself for light placement. Then it would be every bit as good as plugins that costs a few hundred dollars. Really like this so far. Great job!
