DESTRUCTION TOOLS

Geometry Nodes tools to add cracks, damage, rebar, wire mesh detail to meshes

Crack Tool

Add cracks to walls, floors easily with the crack tool, randomize crack position, rotation, subdivision, noise strength, scale and more

Damage Tool

This Tool can add detail damage to any mesh, imagine a collapsed floor, damage to a wall or pillar, its easy to use, works in editmode you can add more subdivisions to have more detail, reposition the damage, scale and rotate it and more

Rebar Tool

Damage alone is not enough, add internal structures like rebar with this rebar too, select faces where you want the rebar to be, control the length, bending, direction and thickness of the rebar using the settings with realtime feedback

Wire Mesh tool

Need more internal detail? try the Wire Mesh tool, like the rebar tool, this can add internal rebar in a mesh layout, control the number or layers, direction, positioning, length and more with the settings.

Extra Debris tool

Add extra rocks and debris and pebbles to different surfaces using this tool, you just select faces you want to have surface debris, use different parameters to randomize the distribution, scale, rotation and more, you can add this to rebar, damaged areas or faces

Pileup And scatter

Destroyed structures have alot of pileup, scatter more debris or pile it up using this tool, this uses geometry from the debris collection, so if you have extra things you want to be added in the pileup, add them to that collection, these could be furniture, wires, rocks, doors and more, just make sure they are all meshes.

Extra Tools

Easily create destroyed structures, building by using this collection of tools

  1. Wire tool You can use the wire tool, to add hanging wires

Features & How To

  1. UVS while geometry nodes does not uv unwrap meshes, when you use any of the tool, seams are selected for you automaticaly and all you have to do is right click, mark seams, then unwrap, this makes easy to create uvs for every geometry you add
  2. Realtime Feedback See what you doing in realtime, remove the guess work, add cracks, damage and control it
  3. Materials The tools use 3 main materials, the surface material, internal_damage and Rebar, you can edit these material in the shader editor, switch out the textures and do what ever you want there, the changes will reflect in the tools
  4. Material setup Geometry nodes has some limitations, sometimes the materials may get mixed up, just select the mesh faces and reassign the materials
  5. Exporting If you are planning on using the models in other Applications like substance painter, unreal engine, the tools help you setup uvs easily, which makes texturing in external programs like substance painter easy
