Atom Bomb: Data Management (B2.7x)

Setup

  1. Open Blender's user preferences (File > User Preferences or CTRL + ALT + U)
  2. Navigate to the "Add-ons" tab at the top
  3. Click "Install Add-on from File..." from the bottom of the window
  4. Navigate to the folder you downloaded AtomBomb_vX_X.py to
  5. Select the file
  6. Click "Install Add-on from File" in the upper right corner
  7. Check the check box next to the add-on to enable it in that instance of Blender
  8. If you'd like to auto-enable the add-on every time Blender starts, click "Save User Preferences" in the lower left, otherwise you can exit out of of the user preferences window.


Location

Atom Bomb is located on the toolshelf of the 3D Viewport. If it is not appearing, try the following:

  1. With your mouse in the 3D Viewport window, press "T" until a menu on the left appears.
  2. Make sure the add-on is properly enabled

If the add-on is still not appearing, visit the support & feedback section.


Usage

  • Nuke: Deletes data of the selected categories in the Blender file
    • Select categories you wish to affect from the categories list in the Atom Bomb panel
    • Click "Nuke Selected"
    • Confirm you would like to delete the listed data
  • Clean: Deleted unused data from the selected categories in the Blender file
    • Select categories you wish to affect from the categories list in the Atom Bomb panel
    • Click "Clean Selected"
    • Confirm you would like to delete the listed data
  • Delete: Delete individual data, specified in the search box above, from the Blender file
    • Select a category from the drop down menu under the search box
    • Find the desired item in the search box
    • Click "Delete" to delete it
