Animated Stereolithography 3D Printer

by Conceptualized.tech in Models

How to use: (also see demo video)

Open 3D resin printer blender file.

Import your model into the scene.

Ensure your model's origin is located on the build plate at frame 100 similar to the example 3D printed object. Select your model then shift + select the 3D printed object then navigate to the Object tab > Constraints > Copy Constraints to Selected Objects. Next with the same objects selected, press Control + L and select Animation Data. Play the animation to ensure correct placement of your object. If incorrect, double check the objects origin location.

Keyframes of the 'UV laser' can be adjusted in the keyframes if longer or shorter models are imported. Simply extend the keyframes (last key frame is the lamp off key frame so move this to the end) by copy and pasting or deleting.

If needed, give your object the Grey Resin material and create your own display animation by adding your model to the display animation blend file and copying the Animation Data of the Susanne Monkey and rendering it separately (Adapt the display animation material to your own model's animation).
